Lee University's men's basketball team went 5-for-6 from the foul line in overtime to beat College of Coastal Georgia 101-96 Friday at the Valdosta State Classic in south Georgia.

The win came six days after Lee (2-2) dropped its home opener to Carver College, 76-66, which followed a 1-1 showing on the road to start the season. Lee lost 106-101 to Miles College but beat Lane College 79-63, with both of those games part of the West Georgia Classic.

Friday's game was tied at 86 at the end of regulation. Keevin Tyus led the Flames with 30 points on 14-for-15 shooting from the field, while C.J. Reese added 18 points, Jervon Johnson scored 16 and Elgrin Wilson finished with a double-double (14 points, 13 rebounds). Rantavious Gilbert had five blocks for Lee.

Dominic Early had 29 points to top the scoring list for Coastal Georgia (4-5), which led 46-38 at halftime.
