The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga volleyball team improved to 15-10 overall and 8-4 in the Southern Conference with a 3-2 win at The Citadel. The set scores were 24-26, 25-21, 12-25, 25-16, 17-15.

Miranda Elpers had 15 kills and 14 digs and Kristy Wieser and Dani Szczepanski had 14 and 12 kills for UTC, which got 34 assists and 16 digs from Lauren Greenspoon, 16 assists and 14 digs from Madison Bergren and 22 digs from Rachel Petkosh.

* At Cleveland, Tenn., Silvia Sartori had 16 kills and 19 digs as Lee University upset visiting West Florida 3-2 (18-25, 25-16, 13-25, 25-16, 15-11) in a Gulf South match.

Brooke Wilsman and Catherine Conley had 10 and nine kills, Sadie Johnson and Kristi Farley had 27 and 18 assists, MaKayla Beebe had 28 digs and Ellisia Kimble had two block solos and four block assists for Lee (12-12, 8-8). UWF is 19-8, 12-3.

* At Lookout Mountain, Ga., Covenant College concluded its regular season with a 3-0 win (25-8, 25-11, 25-9) over Wesleyan (Ga.) and a 3-1 nonconference defeat (25-21, 25-20, 22-25, 25-13) of Sewanee. Morgan Opgenorth and Haley Taylor had eight kills apiece and Hannah Harris added seven against the Macon team for the Lady Scots (19-12, 12-3 USAS), who got five aces from Caroline McLeod and 12 assists from Emily Moore.

Jessica Seehorn had 15 kills and 14 digs and Hannah Stewart, Ginny Moore and Schuyler Moore had 25, 22 and 20 digs against Sewanee, while Schuyler had 40 assists and Stewart served four aces. For the Tigers (9-16), Diamond Stewart had 13 kills and 14 digs, Constance Connolly had 22 assists and 16 digs and Sara Jayne Sutton and Caroline Owens had 28 and 20 digs.

Sewanee beat winless Wesleyan 3-0 (25-8, 25-9, 25-14) as Stewart and Rebecca Rowan had 15 and 14 kills and Connolly and Mo Rooker had 14 and 12 assists.

The Sewanee field hockey team finished its regular season with a 5-8 record by defeating visiting Transylvania 2-1 on Saturday.

Ceara Caffrey scored two second-half goals from assists by Carrie Anderson and Kat Mulligan for the Tigers, who had a 24-8 shots advantage.
