Grind Nation Promotions has set its third boxing card in Chattanooga for Feb. 11, this time featuring the city's own heavyweight, 31-3 Alonzo "Big Zo" Butler, in the main event at the Chattanooga Convention Center. Chattanoogan DeMarcus "All Business" Rogers, who is coming off three consecutive knockout wins in 2016, will be in the co-main event. The doors will open at 6 p.m. and the boxing will begin at 7. As of now the card has nine fights, including another heavyweight bout and a light heavyweight matchup. Ringside tables are sold out, but ringside front-row reserved tickets are available for $60 and second- and third-row tickets for $40. * University of Tennessee at Chattanooga 184-pound wrestler Bryce Carr was chosen the Southern Conference wrestler of the week and also now is receiving national attention. The junior is listed 13th in Amateur Wrestling News' first rankings of the new year. Carr placed third in the Southern Scuffle the Mocs hosted Sunday and Monday. Teammate Jared Johnson, who finished sixth in the Scuffle, is ranked No. 11 at 285 pounds and was SoCon student-athlete of the week. His five wins in the Scuffle included a 3-2 decision over Edinboro's ninth-ranked Billy Murray. Johnson is a 2016 honors gradute with a 3.76 grade point average and a degree in chemical engineering. He is working toward a master's in business administration. UTC hosts Campbell at 2 p.m. Sunday in Maclellan Gym.
