Cleveland's Tom Johnson joing Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame board

Cleveland's Tom Johnson is one of three new members of the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame board. Johnson, president of Health Services, an elder-care provider, and a longtime Special Olympics booster, was a University of Tennessee football center like his brothers Bob and Paul in the early 1970s. The two other new board members are former Volunteers receiver Lester McClain, now a State Farm agent in Middle Tennessee, and Brad Lampley, partner in charge at the firm of Adams and Reese in Nashville. "I cannot think of three finer gentlemen to serve as members of this board," Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame executive director Bill Emendorfer said in the announcement release. "They each are outstanding in their own right and have served their communities and the state of Tennessee well. I cannot wait to get them involved in the many exciting activities happening at the Hall of Fame in the next year."
