University of Tennessee at Chattanooga junior Jacob Huesman is one of 36 included in the College Football Performance Awards Quarterback Watch List for the 2014 NCAA FCS season. The former Baylor School standout was 164-for-240 for 1,637 passing yards and 16 touchdowns last year, with only five interceptions, and ran for 894 yards and nine touchdowns. He was UTC's first Southern Conference offensive player of the year. "Congratulations to Jacob Huesman on once again earning a spot on the CFPA Watch List," CFPA executive director Brad Smith said in the release. "Huesman has been one of the top performers in the Southern Conference since his freshman season, and his contributions in 2013 were statistically significant to Chattanooga's success." The Mocs open their season Aug. 28 at Central Michigan and then host Jacksonville State on Sept. 6, and season tickets are on sale at GoMocs.com.
