UTC women 3-0 in tennis and other sports news

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga women's tennis team didn't win 7-0 as it had done in its previous two matches of 2015, but the Mocs are 3-0 after winning 5-2 Saturday at Eastern Kentucky. They took the doubles point and won all the singles matches except at Nos. 1 and 2. Samantha Caswell and Kelsey Coots each had a win in doubles and singles for UTC, which hosts reigning NCAA Division III national champion Emory at 6 p.m. Saturday at McCallie School. "It was a hard-fought match against a very good team on their home court," UTC coach Jeff Clark said in a school release. "We are looking forward to getting back home and hosting Emory next weekend."
