Around the Region: Baker-Woolfall win at Moccasin Bend

Down two strokes entering the final round, Josh Baker and Wayne Woolfall combined for a 64 Sunday and won a scorecard playoff to finish first at the Moccasin Bend Golf Club Four-Ball tournament. Baker and Woolfall shaved a stroke off their opening round to finish at 129 for the tournament, tying first-round leaders Winston Brown and Ricky Johnson, who shot rounds of 63 and 66. Also in championship flight competition, Matt Crowder and David Watts were third at 66-65 - 131, and Keith Davis and Rick Honeycutt were fourth at 67-65 - 132. In the first flight, Sport Allmond and Jay Potter (71-59 - 130) were first, followed by Ramsey Kimbrough and Greg Raines (71-63 - 134), Mike Allen and Jamie Hightower (72-67 - 139) and David Debrowskey and Jeff Geismar (71-68 - 139). In the senior flight, the winners were Bret Douglas and Wayne Stewart (71-68 - 139), followed by Gary Haskew and Mike Jenkins (69-70 - 139), Zack Coley and Ron Sampson (73-70 - 143) and Tim Burns and Joe White (69-74 - 143).
