* Baylor: Jacob Huesman rushed for 107 yards and two TDs and threw a 5-yard scoring pass to Wyatt McRae as Baylor boosted its unbeaten record to 7-0 with a 21-20 victory over visiting Brentwood Academy. Huesman threw for 189 yards, giving him 296 yards of offense.

* Bledsoe County: Holden Boynton rushed for 111 yards and caught an 8-yard TD pass in a 21-13 loss to Harriman. The loss was the first of the season for Bledsoe County.

* Boyd-Buchanan: Rock Hood led the Buccaneers' rushing effort in a lopsided loss to South Pittsburg.

* Bradley Central: Bryce Copeland threw four touchdown passes, three in the first quarter as the Bears rolled past McMinn County 35-7. Copeland finished with 190 yards.

* Brainerd: William Hughes completed eight of 13 passes and led the Panthers on an 89-yard drive in the waning moments, throwing a TD pass Joseph Derrick with 10 seconds left in a 6-3 upset win over Central.

* Central: Nick Timoshuck recorded seven tackles including a lost-yardage stop but the Pounders were upset by Brainerd 6-3.

* Chattanooga Christian: Beau Simmons was the Chargers' difference in an overtime win at Silverdale Baptist. He kicked an extra point, a 32-yard field goal, pulled in a 37-yard TD pass and scored the winner on a 1-yard overtime run in a 22-16 victory. Simmons had 158 receiving yards on 10 catches.

* Cleveland: B.J. Davis caught six passes for 129 yards and a pair of TDs as the Blue Raiders moved to 3-0 in District 5-AAA with a 42-0 shutout of Walker Valley.

* Dade County: John Hampton scored three first-half TDs and picked up 111 yards on nine carries as the unbeaten Wolverines shut out winless Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe 42-0.

* East Hamilton: Logan Jackson turned in his second 100-yard rushing performance in three games, picking up 154 in the Hurricanes' 47-28 loss to Howard.

* East Ridge: Stefan Nelson, the city's leading tackler, turned in a 14-tackle showing that including two lost-yardage tackles but the Pioneers lost to Hixson 35-7.

* Grace Academy: John Smith scored a pair of TDs but the Golden Eagles couldn't hold an early lead and fell to Marion County 27-20.

* Grundy County: Johnny Cook rushed for 140 yards on 16 attempts and scored a pair of TDs as the Yellowjackets improved to 4-3 with a 35-20 victory over Midway.

* Howard: Evander Rollins averaged 22.3 yards (eight carries, 178 yards) and scored two TDs as the Tigers moved to 6-1 overall and 3-0 in District 6-AA with a 47-28 victory over East Hamilton.

* Hixson: Gary Cosey was credited with 157 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries and Randy Boyd completed eight of 12 passes for 135 passing yards and a TD and 90 rushing yards and a touchdown. Each had a half-dozen six tackles.

* LaFayette: Devarus Porter scored on a 51-yard run, which boosted his rushing total to 165 yards, in a 41-14 loss to Ridgeland.

* Lookout Valley: Jamal Jones scored on an 85-yard kickoff return, a 16-yard pass from Zack Frasier and a 3-yard run but the Yellow Jackets lost 49-28 at Greenback.

* Marion County: Brandon Gibbs scored on runs of 11, 25 and 84 yards as Marion County

* McCallie: Daniel McClure scored on a 14-yard run and a 38-yard pass from Trent Lusk, rushing 22 times for 134 yards as the Blue Tornado outlasted Battle Ground Academy 44-26.

* Meigs County: Junior Travis Savage ran for 222 yards on 26 carries (10.3 ypc) and a touchdown and also recorded 11 tackles including three behind the line in the Tigers' 21-19 loss to Pigeon Forge.

* North Jackson: Deuntae Johnson scored three TDs and picked up 126 yards as the Chiefs won their seven game in seven tries.

* Northwest Whitfield: Colter Creswell had 11 carries for 89 yards but Northwest loss a close one at Rome, 21-17.

* Ooltewah: Randall Freeman ran for 100 yards (6 carries, 16.7 ypc) and turned in 15 tackles but the Owls let one get away 24-21 at Rhea County.

* Polk County: Wingback Tyler Lee got just three carries but picked up 94 yards including touchdowns of 0 and u yards in the Wildcats' 41-0 victory at Tellico Plains.

* Red Bank: Niquia McDuffie scored the Lions' only touchdown while rushing for 133 yards in a 28-7 loss to Tyner.

* Rhea County: Cameron Tallent ran for a touchdown and threw for two others as the Golden Eagles bested Ooltewah 24-21.

* Ridgeland: Deonte Marsh had three TDs, rushing for 187 yards (nine carries, 20.8 ypc) and two scores and returning a fumble 70 yards for his third score in the Panthers' 41-14 win at LaFayette.

* Ringgold: Josh Moore connected on 11 of 20 passes and wound up with three TD tosses as the Tigers outlasted stubborn Southeast Whitfield 38-31.

* Sequatchie County: Jerry Fain, one of the overlooked runners for the Indians, cut loose for 215 yards (eight carries, 26.9 ypc) and two TDs in a 49-14 win over Whitwell.

* Signal Mountain: The Eagles have a plethora of running backs but in those need-it, short-yardage situations against Sequoyah, coach Bill Price turned to hard-nosed Zach Bowman and he responded with a pair of touchdowns as Signal moved to 8-0 with a 49-14 victory over Sequoyah.

* Soddy-Daisy: Backup Brett Standifer threw a TD pass and completed 12 of 16 passes for 143 yards but the Trojans fell to Kentucky power Bell County 41-20.

* Southeast Whitfield: Cory Burch scored two rushing TDs and added another on a 22-yard reception but Southeast fell short, 38-31, to Ringgold. Burch had 130 rushing yards.

* South Pittsburg: Raquis Hale ran for 251 yards (14 carries, 17.9 ypc) and four touchdowns as the Pirates exploded on visiting Boyd-Buchanan 41-6. Three of Hale's scores came on runs of 50 or more yards with a long of 70.

* Tyner: Playing in a fill-in role, DeSean Neal completed five of nine passes for 96 yards but he also intercepted a Red Bank pass and returned it 26 yards for a TD in the Rams' 28-7 victory over Red Bank.
