Ridgeland High School safety Vonn Bell has been rated by Rivals.com as the No. 7 prospect in the state of Georgia.
Bell is the only player from extreme northwestern Georgia to make the state's top 50. The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder is the No. 13 safety nationally and the No. 155 overall prospect, and he has dozens of early scholarship offers, including from Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee and from as far away as Ohio State, Nebraska, Texas and UCLA.
Rated ahead of Bell in the Peach State are Loganville defensive end Robert Nkemdiche, Vienna defensive tackle Montavius Adams, Alpharetta defensive end Carl Lawson, Newnan defensive back Tray Matthews, Kingsland quarterback Brice Ramsey and Lawrenceville linebacker Trey Johnson. Matthews and Ramsey are Georgia commitments, while Lawson and Johnson have pledged to Auburn.
The Bulldogs have gone out of state to get their 19th commitment, landing receiver Reggie Davis of Tallahassee, Fla. The 6-foot, 158-pounder is rated by Rivals.com as the No. 17 receiving prospect and the No. 158 prospect overall.
Davis also had dozens of early offers, including ones from Alabama, Auburn, Florida and Tennessee.
