• Baylor: George Porter added three more scores to his touchdown total and rushed for 183 yards in his last regular-season game against rival McCallie.

• Bledsoe County: Bradley Smith scored a TD and a two-point conversion and rushed for 93 yards in a 29-20 loss to Sequatchie County.

• Brainerd: Back now to receiver, Sam Caffey hauled in a pair of TD passes from LaTony Word as the Panthers won their first game of the 2013 season, 19-16 over Howard.

• Boyd-Buchanan: Jim Cardwell ran for one TD and passed for two as the Buccaneers won their District 5-A opener, 49-20 at Grace Academy.

• Bradley Central: Brett Standifer threw four TD passes and had 250 passing yards, but the Bears lost 28-26 to Ooltewah.

• Calhoun: Open date.

• Central: Isyah Funk scored the Pounders' only touchdown in a 35-10 home loss to Tyner.

• Chattanooga Christian: Lost 35-0 to Grundy County.

• Christian Heritage: Trevor Brown threw 3 TD passes and completed 18 of 26 passes for 253 yards in a 35-0 win at Gordon Lee.

• Cleveland: Tyler Davis pulled in four passes for 104 yards and a TD, but the Blue Raiders lost 21-20 to East Hamilton.

• Coahulla Creek: No report; lost 14-6 to Gordon Central.

• Dade County: Open date.

• Dalton: Payton Veraldi completed 6 of 10 passes for 110 yards with two of those completions going for TDs in the Catamounts' 28-0 victory over Ridgeland. Veraldi also picked up 53 rushing yards.

• East Hamilton: Tre Herndon returned a kickoff 80 yards for one TD and hauled in a 65-yard pass from Hunter Moore in the Hurricanes' 21-20 victory over Cleveland.

• East Ridge: Jo Jo Tillery ran for 83 yards and passed for 87, but the Pioneers dropped out of the District 6-AA lead in a 19-14 loss at Hixson.

• Fort Payne: No report; beat Boaz 33-0.

• Gordon Central: No report; beat Coahulla Creek 14-6.

• Gordon Lee: Lost to Christian Heritage 35-0.

• Grace Academy: Will Slack scored two touchdowns and rushed for 149 yards, but the Golden Eagles fell 49-20 to Boyd-Buchanan.

• Grundy County: Michael Nolan scored three times and gained 140 yards on 18 carries as the Yellow Jackets posted their second win of the year, 35-0 over Chattanooga Christian.

• Heritage: No report; lost to Northwest Whitfield 49-7.

• Hixson: Gill Brown threw for one TD and scored the eventual game-winner in the third quarter as the Wildcats rallied past East Ridge 19-14.

• Howard: Quarterback Terrance Brooks caught a 42-yard pass from running back Lorenzo McCauley, but the Hustlin' Tigers fell 19-16 to Brainerd.

• Ider: No report; lost to Section 43-28.

• LaFayette: No report; lost 31-17 to Southeast Whitfield.

• Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe: Jacob Gilbert scored one of the Warriors' two TDs in a 76-13 loss to unbeaten Cartersville.

• Lookout Valley: Evan Walker scored the Yellow Jackets' TD in a 47-8 loss to Whitwell.

• Marion County: Logan Walters completed 9 of 16 passes, and five of them went for touchdowns as the Warriors took the wraps off their passing game in a 69-0 win over Sale Creek.

• Murray County: Open date.

• McCallie: Paul Silverblatt picked up 102 yards on 13 carries, but the Blue Tornado lost to Baylor 38-14.

• McMinn Central: Gage Johnson had 16 tackles (10 solos), a sack, a forced fumble and an interception return for a TD in the Chargers' 40-17 win over Sweetwater.

• McMinn County: Corbin Powers ran for two touchdowns and passed for another as the Cherokees got their second win of the season, 42-7 over Soddy-Daisy.

• Meigs County: No report; lost 63-7 to Grace Christian.

• North Jackson: C.J. Cobb gained 14 yards and threw a scoring pass to Omar Brown with 0:37 left as the Chiefs rallied to beat Butler 7-6.

• North Murray: Drake McKowan scored early and late and gained 115 yards (20 carries) in a 31-21 loss to Adairsville.

• North Sand Mountain: No report; beat West End 41-14.

• Northwest Whitfield: Caleb Shiflett threw five TD passes in a 49-7 win over Heritage.

• Notre Dame: Auston Banks ran 16 times for 80 yards but couldn't get the breakaway big gainer as the Irish fell 20-13 to Signal Mountain.

• Ooltewah: Brody Binder completed 18 of 24 passes with no interceptions, accounting for 186 yards and two TDs in the Owls' 28-26 win over Bradley Central.

• Polk County: No report; beat Sequoyah 21-14.

• Red Bank: Open date.

• Rhea County: Jacob York scored two of the Golden Eagles' first three TDs and finished with 91 yards on 12 carries in a 27-3 win over Cookeville.

• Ridgeland: Lost to Dalton 28-0.

• Ringgold: Slade Dale ran for 146 yards and passed for 111 as the Tigers blanked Sonoraville 30-0.

• Sale Creek: Lost to Marion County 69-0.

• Scottsboro: No report; beat Etowah 24-20.

• Sequatchie County: Blake Cates ran for 44 yards and a TD and had 10 solo tackles and 11 assists in the Indians' 29-20 win over Bledsoe County.

• Signal Mountain: Jacob Wright had four tackles for loss, each coming in a crucial situation, and batted down a pass as the Eagles came from behind to slip past Notre Dame, 20-13.

• Silverdale Baptist: Open date.

• Soddy-Daisy: Lost 42-7 to McMinn County.

• Sonoraville: No report; lost to Ringgold 38-0.

• Southeast Whitfield: No report; beat LaFayette 31-17.

• Tyner: Willie Stewart threw a 67-yard TD pass and returned a fumble 71 yards as the Rams beat Central 35-10.

• Whitwell: Clay McHone re-entered the Tigers' rushing picture, picking up 130 yards on 13 carries in a 47-8 win over winless Lookout Valley.
