Lookouts beat Braves in 13 innings

Kyle Russell's one-out home run to center in the top of the 13th inning propelled Chattanooga (32-32) a 2-1 win over the Mississippi Braves in 13 innings. The win is the Lookouts' sixth consecutive victory and pulls them to within a game of completing a five-game sweep at Mississippi.

The Lookouts took a 1-0 lead in the fourth inning when Scott Van Slyke drew a one-out walk and scored on Wilberto Ortiz's two-out double to left.

Later in the fourth, Tyler Pastornicky, Willie Cabrera and Donell Linares opened with consecutive singles for Mississippi, and Ernesto Mejia's sacrifice to center scored Pastornicky to tie the game at 1-1.

Game five of a five-game series in Mississippi is tonight at 8:05 EDT.

Michael Antonini (4-7, 4.41) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Paul Clemens (4-3, 3.36) scheduled for the Braves.
