ZEBULON, N.C. - The visiting Chattanooga Lookouts defeated the Carolina Mudcats 5-1 in Southern League baseball Saturday night.

Chattanooga starting pitcher Rubby De La Rosa struck out five in two innings before being taken out of the game. The Lookouts (21-21) took a 1-0 lead in the second inning on leadoff doubles by Alfredo Silverio and Kyle Russell, and they extended their advantage to 2-0 in the fourth when Brian Cavazos-Galvez led off with a home run to left. Ivan Ochoa doubled and then scored on a Brad Coon single in the eighth inning, and Ochoa drove in two runs in the ninth.

Game three of the five-game series is today at 2 p.m. Nate Eovaldi (3-1, 2.80 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Kyle McCulloch (0-1, 6.00) set to pitch for the Mudcats.
