Zach Lee, Ozzie Martinez lead Chattanooga Lookouts to 4-0 win

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Zach Lee dominated on the mound and Ozzie Martinez excelled at the plate as the Chattanooga Lookouts beat the Huntsville Stars 4-0 in Southern League baseball Saturday night.

Chattanooga won for a third straight night to get above .500 in the league's second half (6-5) and for the season (41-40). Lookouts pitchers have not allowed a run in 23 innings.

Lee yielded just two hits and struck out six in seven scoreless innings, and he got plenty of help from Martinez, who went 3-for-3 and also reached on a walk.

The Lookouts took a 2-0 lead in the fifth inning, when Jan Vazquez singled to center field to score Martinez and Rafael Ynoa singled to center to score Vazquez. Martinez homered to left-center in the sixth to make it 3-0.

Game two of the five-game series is today at 5:03 EDT. Chris Reed (3-7, 3.50 ERA) is scheduled to start on the mound for the Lookouts.
