Smoked again.

The Chattanooga Lookouts lost 8-4 to the Tennessee Smokies on Saturday night at AT&T Field. It was Tennessee's eighth victory over Chattanooga this season in nine meetings, and the Smokies wasted little time in extending their dominance.

Lookouts starting pitcher Andres Santiago trailed 3-0 after facing four batters and failed to last four innings.

John Andreoli and Zeke DeVoss drew walks to open the game, and then Kris Bryant loaded the bases with an infield hit. Charles Cutler followed with a bases-clearing double to center field, which was the big blow in Tennessee's four-run first inning.

The Smokies (16-13) extended their advantage to 7-0 in the fourth, which was highlighted by Bryant's two-run home run to right-center. Bryant, who received a record Chicago Cubs signing bonus last year of $6.71 million, went 4-for-5 to increase his season average to .304.

Chattanooga (11-17) made it 7-1 later in the fourth when Jeremy Hazelbaker drew a one-out walk and Brian Cavazos-Galvez followed with an RBI double to center.

Chattanooga and Tennessee will finish a five-game homestand today at 2:15.
