Mississippi Braves top Chattanooga Lookouts again, 4-3

The Mississippi Braves clinched winning their Southern League baseball series against visiting Chattanooga with a 4-3 victory Wednesday afternoon.

The Braves prevailed with a four-run fifth inning, which included an RBI double to right field by Corban Joseph and RBI singles to center by Kevin Ahrens and Seth Loman.

The loss was the fifth in six games for the Lookouts, who dropped to 6-6.

Chattanooga took a 1-0 lead in the second inning when Dalton Hicks reached on a fielding error, advanced to third on Travis Harrison's double to right and scored on a Stuart Turner groundout. The Lookouts increased their advantage to 3-0 in the fifth on Max Kepler's leadoff double to left that was followed by Levi Michael's home run to right-center.

Game four of the five-game series in Mississippi is tonight at 8 EDT. Greg Peavey (1-1, 12.00) is scheduled to start on the mound for the Lookouts, with Greg Ross (1-1, 11.74) scheduled for the Braves.
