The Chattanooga Lookouts fell victim to a four-run seventh inning Thursday night and lost 6-1 to the Tennessee Smokies in Kodak, Tenn.

It was the fourth straight day that the teams met, and the fourth consecutive time that the Smokies were victorious despite the series transitioning from Chattanooga to Knoxville on Thursday.

Tennessee (31-23) sent nine players to the plate in the decisive inning, playing small ball. The Smokies had only three hits but benefited from a pair of walks and a fielding error in breaking a 1-all tie.

Felix Pena (5-2) got the pitching win, striking out seven in seven innings. The run he allowed came on a Mike Gonzales home run leading off the fifth inning. Greg Peavey (4-2) took the loss, giving up two runs and five hits in 6 2/3 innings.

The Lookouts (29-23) fell a full game behind the Smokies in the Southern League North standings, having lost six straight and seven of their last 10. The teams return to the diamond tonight, with the first pitch scheduled for 7:05.

Pitcher Brett Lee is scheduled to make his debut for the Lookouts, with Ivan Pineyro (4-3, 3.36 ERA) scheduled for the Smokies.
