LOOKOUTS 4, BRAVES 3

Sunday's recap: Mississippi committed four errors to help Chattanooga claim the series opener. A fielding error on Braves right fielder Dian Toscano enabled Lookouts leadoff batter Zach Granite to reach third, and he scored the game's first run on a Mitch Garver sacrifice to left. Granite singled to left to score Leo Reginatto to tie the game at 2-2 in the seventh inning, and the Lookouts (4-7) got an RBI double by Reginatto in the eighth and benefited from two more Mississippi miscues. Braves leadoff hitter and touted shortstop prospect Ozzie Albies went 2-for-4 with two triples and is hitting .326.

Next game: Game two of a five-game series in Mississippi is tonight at 8 EDT.

Pitchers: D.J. Baxendale (1-1, 3.27) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Chris Ellis (1-0, 1.59) scheduled for the Braves.
