LOOKOUTS 1, BISCUITS 0

Thursday's recap: The Lookouts' explosive offense was missing Thursday but one run was enough for red-hot pitcher Ryan Eades. An unearned run in the second inning was enough for the LSU product as he extended his scoreless streak to 13 innings with seven innings of three-hit, three-strikeout pitching. The Lookouts (34-33) got their only run after Travis Harrison walked to lead off the second and later scored after Leonardo Reginatto's single and an outfield throwing error. Eades had one difficult inning, but after allowing a leadoff single and walk got out of trouble in the seventh. Jake Reed pitched the eighth - picking off Braxton Lee for the third out - and Trevor Hildenberger had a 1-2-3 ninth to earn his eighth save.

Next up: Game three of a five-game series in Montgomery is tonight at 8:05 EDT.

Pitchers: David Hurlbut (4-3, 4.09) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Hunter Wood (3-0, 1.10) scheduled for the Biscuits.
