Kyle Wren, Victor Roache and Garrett Cooper each had multiple hits, and Jacob Nottingham and Chris McFarland hit home runs as Biloxi defeated Chattanooga 9-7 in Southern League baseball Tuesday night at AT&T Field before an announced crowd of 1,845.

The Shuckers ended a four-game winning streak for the Lookouts, who dropped to 18-21.

Biloxi scored four runs in the first inning off Chattanooga and pitcher Aaron Slegers. Wren doubled to left field to open the game, and that was followed by Nottingham drawing a walk and Brett Phillips singling to load the bases.

A Cooper groundout scored Wren, and a Nick Ramirez single to right scored Nottingham and Phillips to make it 3-0.

Zach Granite tripled and scored in the first inning for Chattanooga, but Nottingham's two-run homer to center in the second inning gave the Shuckers a 6-1 lead. Granite had a two-run single to center later in the second to get the Lookouts within 6-3.

Biloxi's second homer of the game occurred in the third inning, when McFarland's solo shot to center made it 7-3.

The Lookouts trailed 9-6 entering the ninth inning but pulled within two on a Dalton Hicks double to right that scored Travis Harrison. Granite had two hits for Chattanooga, while left fielder Joe Maloney went 3-for-5.

Ryan Eades (2-2, 5.00 ERA) is scheduled to start this morning's 11:15 series finale on the mound for the Lookouts, with Wei-Chung Wang (2-2, 3.43) scheduled for the Shuckers.
