Chattanooga Lookouts outlast Montgomery Biscuits for 7-6 win

With a four-run rally in the sixth inning, the first-place Chattanooga Lookouts won 7-6 Monday night at Montgomery, Ala., and extended their Southern League baseball win streak to four games.

The Lookouts have won eight of their last 11, but they needed a ninth-inning insurance RBI from Carlos Paulino and Nick Anderson's fourth save. Down by two going into their last at-bat, the Biscuits got a leadoff triple and RBI single and had the tying run on third base.

Chattanooga's big blow in the sixth was a bases-loaded triple from LaMonte Wade. T.J. White, Max Murphy and Paulino each was 2-for-5 in the game, White with a home run leading off the second inning.

Starting pitcher Kohl Stewart picked up his fifth win in 10 decisions.

Game three of a five-game series in Montgomery is tonight at 8:05 EDT. Dereck Rodriguez (4-2, 4.04 ERA) is the scheduled starting pitcher for the Lookouts, with Logan Darnell (3-1, 3.19) scheduled for the Biscuits.
