Chattanooga Lookouts snap skid in Jackson

Tuesday's recap: Chattanooga starting pitcher Stephen Gonsalves allowed one run in five innings and struck out nine as the Lookouts defeated Jackson for the first time after three straight defeats. Zander Wiel put the Lookouts up 1-0 in the first inning on a two-out double to right field that scored Nick Gordon, and they made it 2-0 in the second on Brian Navarreto's home run to right. Gordon went 2-for-4 for the Lookouts (10-9) to raise his season average to .382.

Next up: Game five of a five-game series in Jackson is this afternoon at 12:05 EDT.

Pitchers: Randy LeBlanc (2-1, 1.69) is scheduled to start for the Lookouts, with Sam Lewis (2-1, 3.00) scheduled for the Generals.

Note: The Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame announced Tuesday the Lookouts, who shared the Southern League title last season, and the 2017 Pacific Coast League champion Memphis Redbirds are the hall's 2018 professional teams of the year. They will be honored June 16 at the induction banquet in Nashville.
