Barbara Pankey

ROSSVILLE Barbara Ann Pankey, age 74 passed away Monday, Aug. 8, 2011 surrounded by her family. She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga Area, was of the Christian Faith, and was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister that will be greatly missed.Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Orban and Evelyn Craft Dotson.She is survived by her children, Teresa Blaylock, of Rossville, Rebecca "Becky" Nix, of Dalton, and Marty Hall (Kathy), of East Ridge; sister, Sheila Lambert, of Rossville, Laverne Giles, of Chickamauga, and Wanda Farmer, of Chattanooga; brothers, Sidney Dotson, of Fort Payne, Bill Dotson, of Henegar, and James Dotson, of Rossville; seven grandchildren; 12 great- grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. today, and prior to the service on Friday. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 12, 2011 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. James Dotson officiating.Interment will follow at Brown's Chapel Cemetery, Red Bank, Tenn.Arrangements by W.L. Wilson and Sons-Ft. Oglethorpe.
