Pete Kean

Lenord Franklin "Pete" Kean, 79, passed away Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011.He was a member of Middle Valley Baptist Church. He retired from DuPont after 30 years of service. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He coached baseball for many years at Middle Valley Recreation Center. He was a loving husband, father and "PaPa" to his grandchildren. "ROLL TIDE".He was preceded in death by his parents, Hardy and Mamie Kean.He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Kean, of Hixson; sons, Walter (Becky) Kean, of Chattanooga, Tony (Dianne) Kean, of Soddy-Daisy, and Mike (Sherry) Kean, of Soddy-Daisy; sisters, Eloise Scott, of Fort Payne, Ala., and Glendora (Warren) Burk, of Canton, Ga.; grandchildren, Mandy (Matt) Jones, of Hixson, Andrew Kean, serving in the U.S. Navy, Abbie Kean, of Soddy-Daisy, Will Kean, of Soddy-Daisy, Rheagan Kean, of Chattanooga, and Hannah Kean, of Soddy-Daisy; greatgrandchildren, Haley and Logan Jones.The funeral service will be 1 p.m. today, Feb. 8, in the chapel at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, with the Rev.
