Mary Pless

Mary Elizabeth Meador Pless, 90, of Signal Mountain, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011.Mary was born in Chattanooga, was a 1938 graduate of Central High School and graduated from Edmondson Business College. She was an active member of Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church. Mary was active in Civic work on Signal Mountain and retired after 43 years of service with TVA as personnel officer.She was preceded in death by her brothers, Horace Clifton, Vann Arthur and W. Webb Meador.Mary is survived by her daughter, Deborah Luttrell; grandsons, David Lee and Eric Daniel Luttrell; niece, Jeanne Simmons, nephew, Windsor A. Meador; and several other nieces and nephews.A celebration of the Life of Mary Elizabeth Meador Pless will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church, 612 James Blvd., Signal Mountain with the Rev.
