Holly Readus

Holly Lea Readus, 26, of Ooltewah, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2011, as a result of injuries received in the tornado.She was a member of Apison Seventh-day Adventist Church and she was formerly employed at McKee Foods for five years. She was a loving wife,mother, daughter, sister and daughter in law, niece and a loyal friend to those who knew her. Holly loved her animals, Tike, Lego, Bher, Samson and Truman. She was an avid arts and craft enthusiast and had the ability to "always find that bargain". She will be missed by those that knew her.Surviving relatives: husband, Chad Readus; daughter, Avangaleen Noel Readus; father and mother, Walt and Cathy Mitchell, of Ooltewah; brother, Adam Young, of Ooltewah; maternal grandmother, Rosalin Reed, of Chattanooga; paternal grandparents, Earl and Thelma Mitchell, of Chattanooga; father and mother-in-law, Reginald and Delores Elder, of Chattanooga; father-in-law, Bernard Readus of Chattanooga; aunts, Cindy (Glenn) McGrady, Lisa (Terry) Wilt, both of Ooltewah; cousins, Suzanne Davenport, of Chattanooga, Sarah Oliverio, of Washington. Samantha Oliverio, of Ringgold, Ga.; stepsisters, Ashley and Fallan Mitchell; uncle, Michael Igou, several aunts and other cousins. Best friend, Tanya Dordon.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. today, May 1, 2011, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Christopher Beason and Pastor Walter Owens, officiating.The interment will follow in Collegedale Memorial Park.
