Katherine Davidson

Katherine Davidson, 88, of East Ridge, passed away Friday, April 29, 2011. A native of Rhone County, Tenn., she has been a resident of the Chattanooga area for the past 59 years and was an active member of the Church at Gospel Chapel of Rossville since 1963. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Maggie Clifton Hickey; two sisters, Mildred Hickey Boles and Brenda Hickey Jones; brother, Cornell Hickey. Survivors include her loving husband of 67 years, Kenneth O. Davidson; daughter, Janice Davidson; three sons, Donald (Janice) Davidson, Dennis (Ruby) Davidson and Daniel Davidson; sister, Joyce Hickey Hatch; seven grandchildren, Kristy, Misty, Brian, Brittany, Sherry, Michelle and Ray; 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; brother and sisters-in-law and Church family. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Noah Yarber officiating. Interment will be in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at americancancersociety.org.
