Billie Friddell Kelley, 69, of Hixson, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 29, 2011.A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, Billie was a 1959 graduate from Tyner High School and also a graduate of UTC.She was retired from Hamilton County Day Care Center and was a Girl Scout leader for over 25 years. She was of the Baptist faith.Billie was preceded in death by her parents, C.J. "Buck" and Zella Friddell; and a sister, Pam Farrar.Billie is survived by her husband of 49 years, Gene Kelley; son, Mark (Andrea) Kelley; granddaughter, Ronyn Kelley; special niece and nephew, Jake and Stacy Farrar; sister, Lynda (Jerry) Wilburn; two brothers, Tommy (Vera Sue) Friddell and Charles (Mary Carol) Friddell; several other nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 4 until 8 p.m. today and from 1 until 3 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.Services for Billie will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev.
