Barbara NewberryBarbara J. Newberry, 77, of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, Oct. 10, 2011 in a local hospital.Mrs. Newberry attended the City Church of Chattanooga. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, MSGT Kenneth Ray Newberry.Survivors include two sons, Michael (Dee) Newberry, Ooltewah, Ken (Pam) Newberry, Chattanooga; brother, Dr. Gail W. Schlamback, Stuart, Fla.; sister, Debbie Tscheschlok, Marine, Ill.; three grandchildren, Christen Newberry, Matthew Newberry and Michael Newberry; one great-granddaughter, Kenzie Mutka-Newberry.Private graveside services will be held for the family only.
