James Solesbee

RINGGOLD James Solesbee, 73, died Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, in a local hospital. He was a native of Murphy, N.C., moving here from Michigan in 2004. Mr. Solesbee was retired from General Motors in Lavonia, Mich., after 38 years and service and was a member of the UAW, and was an avid gardener. He was the son of the late William and Lela Woody Solesbee.Survivors are his wife, Emma Solesbee; son, Dean Solesbee, Ringgold; sister, Judy Morgan, Texas.Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Don Self and Danny Morgan officiating.
