Elizabeth Guffey

FLINTSTONE Elizabeth Ellis Guffey, 84, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012.She was a lifelong resident of North Georgia and was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church, Chickamauga.She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Guffey; and parents, Houston R. and Ora Lee McAllister Ellis.Elizabeth is survived by her uncle, Lester (Rena) McAllister; aunt, Cassie Owen; and several nieces and nephews.The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Brother Steve Camp officiating.Interment will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.The family will receive friends after 5 p.m. today and prior to the service on Thursday.Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home, Fort Oglethorpe.
