Hazel Hester

RINGGOLD Hazel H. Hester, 81, passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012, at her home.She was born in Greensboro, Ala. She lived most of her childhood in Cedartown, Ga. She graduated from Cedartown High School.Hazel lived most of her adult life in Atlanta, moving to the Ringgold area in 2002. She worked for the Southern Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventists for 32 years serving in several accounting positions.She was an active member of the Atlanta Belvedere SDA Church and finally of the Chattanooga First Church of SDA.Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Willis G. Hester; daughter, Laura H. Hartman; granddaughters, Amanda L. Woodard and Emily G. Hartman.Visitation will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, with the memorial service to follow at 1 p.m. at the Chattanooga First Church of SDA.In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to 3ABN P.O.
