HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. Eva Gladys Churchwell died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, at 93 years of age.She is survived by numerous relatives including Bill Roper of Hilton Head who cared for her over the past 16 years.A memorial service will be held at the Hamilton Gardens Chapel of Devotion Mausoleum at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012, where she will be interred next to her loving husband Lynn Churchwell.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Unity Church of Hilton Head, Gladys spiritual home during her final stages of her life.www.theislandfuneralhome.com.
