WHITWELL Abner Kirk Carver, 73, passed away, Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012.He was a certified welder.He was preceded in death by his parents, Doc William Carver and Hazel Lorraine Hicks Ferguson; his step-father, Spenser Ferguson; and brothers, Robert Doc and Doyle Lebron Carver.Mr. Carver is survived by his wife, Anna King Carver, who were married 42 years this past Valentine's Day. He is also survived by his sons, Billy Dean Carver, Whitwell, Dale Wayne Carver and Jimmy Darrell Carver, both of Richard City; daughters, Myra Darlene (David) Grayson, Crossroads and Sharon Louise Carver, Sequatchie; brother, Donald Richard (Barbara Green) Carver, Bridgeport; sisters, Lillie (Leo) Chaffin, Eagleville and Sarah Jane Luper, Mt. Juliet; 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m. CST, on Tuesday, Dec. 4, with Bro. Ronnie Case and Bro.
