Zebbie Crum

Zebbie D. Crum, 79, passed away on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012 in Chattanooga.He was born to the late Wilbert Crum and Jessie Lee Crum in Selma, Ala., in Oct. 21, 1933.He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, his son, Barry D. Crum; and grandson, Cedric Crum.Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Crum; daughters, Zandra Crum Strickland, Chattanooga, Chantay Jennings, Atlanta; sons, Anthony Strickland, Jeffery Crum and Gregory Crum, of Chattanooga; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; brother and caregiver, Willie E. Crum, Chattanooga; sisters, Mary B. Hall, Birmingham, Ala., Effie Mae Foster, Minter, Ala., Fannie Mae Shine, Bessemer, Ala., Alma D, Detroit, Mich.; a host of nieces, nephews.Funeral services will be handled by Lewis Funeral Home Inc. in Selma, Ala.The body will lie in state after noon today until 7 p.m. this evening at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
