RINGGOLD Lois Gray Akers Oglesby, 90, passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012.A resident of the Catoosa County area for the past 60 years, she was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Oglesby Sr.; son, Ross Oglesby; sister, Avis Akers and brothers, Emmons, Riley, Oza, Ires, Shelby and Carl Akers.She is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Marty and Robin Lee Oglesby, of Ringgold, and Oscar Oglesby Jr., of Cloudland, Ga.; two sisters, Veola Robertson of Mount Juliet, Tenn., and Joyce Warren of Bethany, Okla.; sister-in-law, Helen Akers, of Ringgold; granddaughter, Mary Oglesby, of Illinois; several nieces, nephews and cousins.Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel.Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. t oday and Wednesday until funeral time at the funeral home.An online register book may be signed at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.
