Andrea Cardell Russell, 63, of Chattanooga, died Saturday Dec. 15, 2012, at a local hospital.Preceded in death by mother, Lugene Dozier; and adopted mother, Annie Ruth Cardell (Joseph) Scott; siblings, Clarence, Walter, Maurice and Judy Dozier; daughter, Tomasenia Cardell; and sister-in-law, Gertha Russell, all of Chattanooga. She is survived by husband, Larry Russell; son, Richard Cardell; brother, William (Valecia) Cardell; sister Ruth Cardell, of Chattanooga; sister, Elsie Cardell, Chicago, Ill.; grandchildren, Randy (Jamie) Williams Jr., Steven Crumity Jr., Joseph Cardell Tillery and Tezdris Russell, of Chattanooga.Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012, viewing 11 am at Olivet Baptist Church, 740 East M.L. King Blvd., Chattanooga, TN 37403.Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.The body will lie in state after noon-8 p.m. at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1100 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
