Clayton Tucker

RINGGOLD Clayton B. Tucker, 51, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012 with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer. Clayton is preceded in death by his father Joseph Tucker.Clay is survived by his mother Ann; wife Christy Tucker; son Chase; daughter, Katerina Tucker; sister Gail Summers (Jim), Lynn Thomas ( Robert) and Beth Perdue (Jim). He was a school teacher at McDowell High School and the Juvenile Evaluation Center. He was a graduate of The University of Georgia and a proud Bulldog. After a career change he went to work for the Environmental and Health Inspection division of Buncombe County. His love of the great outdoors led him be an avid hunter and fisherman. If you saw him in the woods he was looking for Bigfoot. He would convince you that Bigfoot lived in the woods at his farm. Clay attended church at the Chapel Door in Fairview. Clay was a loving son, father, husband and brother. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Cancer Care of WNC.A memorial service is planned for Friday, Dec. 28, at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Wilson Family Funeral Service in Black Mountain.
