LaFAYETTE Ruth E. Clifton, 85, passed away Monday, July 2, 2012, at the Cozy Manor Assisted Living.She was a member of Cloud Springs Baptist Church. Her passions in life were her family, cooking and sewing.She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Clifton; and one granddaughter, Kelli Lynn Grahill.Survivors include her three children, Robert C. (Carol) Pullen, Monroe, N.C., Diane (Bob) Bryant, Williamsburg, Va., and Priscilla (Terry) Pennington, Fort Oglethorpe; three grandchildren, Craig Riley Bryant, Alisha Mechelle Lee and Kerry Brent Pennington; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Condolences may be sent to www.lane-southcrestchapel.com.Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today, July 3, 2012, in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South, with the Rev.
