Dean Beasley

Dean M. Beasley, MHA, MSW, LCSW, 67, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2012, at his home in Mobile, Ala.He was born and raised in Chattanooga, but lived in Mobile, Ala., for the past 24 years. Dean worked in the medical field as a social worker and was highly regarded by his peers and associates. He was a disabled veteran who achieved the rank of Captain in the United States Air Force.Dean is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sue Cox Beasley; his son, Brann Beasley and his daughter, Deana (Greg) Cruz. He also had one grandchild, Justice Cruz.He was preceded in death by his parents, R.D. "Bill" Beasley and Lucille Oliphant Beasley.He had many loving in-laws who were very supportive during his illness.The funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 9, Graveside, in Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors.Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.Condolences and memories may be shared at www.williamsonandsons.com.Arrangements are by Williamson & Sons Funeral Home, 8852 Dayton Pike Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379.
