ROSSVILLE Carlene Kay Lawson Payne, 50, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012.She was born Dec. 15, 1961 in Fort Valley, Ga. and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Louise Lowe Lawson; brother, William Wade Lawson; sisters, Darlene Gay Lawson, Marquita Gerrin and Anita Murphy.Survivors include her father, George Lawson; son, Kenneth Brandon Payne; three sisters, Marlene Gail Epps, Charlene (Terry) Dale Smith and Patricia Owen; brother, George Thomas Lawson; granddaughter, Alexis Sierra Payne, several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. today, all day Thursday, and prior to the funeral service Friday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.Interment will follow in Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.Arrangements are by W.L.
