FLAT ROCK Martina Eloise Street Smith Hawthorne, 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, July 17, 2012.She was a graduate of Dade County High School. Mrs. Hawthorne has been employed by the Home Stores of Chattanooga for a number of years, ODells grocery, and Dr. Elmore in Bridgeport, Ala. She was an active member of Ider Baptist Church.Mrs. Hawthorne was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Grady Smith and Rev. J.R. Hawthorne; two sons, Charles Smith Jr. and Lanny Smith; parents, Martin and Jessie Street; and brother, Buford Street.Surviving are two daughters, Kay Brown, Higdon, Ala., Colleen (William) Smith, Vero Beach, Fla.; brother, Donald (Elizabeth) Street, Wildwood, Ga.; three stepchildren, Sandra, Margaret and Martha; also several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and also several nieces and nephews.Visit www.RyanFuneralHome.net to share memories and condolences.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel with Rev.
