Lula OShields

Lula Mae OShields, 73 of Chattanooga, passed away peacefully Wednesday, July 18, 2012, surrounded by family. Originally from Peeks Corner, Ala., she lived her adult life in the Chattanooga area, retiring from DM Steward. She was preceded in death by parents, Dewey and Maude OShields; brothers, Lewis, William "Bill" and Jack OShields.Lula is survived by two sisters, Virginia Smith, of Lilburn, Ga., and Betty Faye Mitchell, of Fyffe, Ala.; and sister-in-law, Betty OShields, of Flintstone, Ga. She leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews, most of whom, she made sure were excellent card players! Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 22, 2012, at Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.Family will receive friends from 3 until 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.Arrangements are by W.L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Fort Oglethorpe.
