Robert "Rob" Louis Hilt, 72, passed on Wednesday, July 18, 2012.He was last employed at the city of Chattanooga and Moccasin Bend.He was preceded by his parents, Tidus and Cornelia Hilt; siblings, Clarice Putnam and Leonard Hilt.Survivors include spouse, JoAnn Hilt; sons, Kenneth Hilt, Johnson City, Grayland (Julie) Hilt, California; Wesley (Felicia) Hilt; daughter, Velda Hilt; seven great-grandchildren; brothers, Clarence Sr. and Gordon Hilt; sisters, Carolyn and Marion Hilt; sisterin-law, Joyce Hilt; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Services will be at noon Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Olivet Baptist Church.Interment in Highland Memorial Gardens.The body will lie in state after noon today at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 622-9995.
