ROSSVILLE Huie Frances Smith Nichols Krauhs, 64, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2012.A lifelong resident of the Catoosa County area, she was a former employee of Mohawk Industries and attended North Whitfield Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Frank" Nichols; parents, George and Cora Mitchell Smith; brother, Danny Wayne Smith; and grandson, Kyle Dewayne Hill.She is survived by four daughters, Elisa (Wayne) Swindle, of Pikeville, Tenn., Vickie (Billy) Blakemore, of Rossville, Wanda Hughes, of LaFayette, Ga., and Sara (JoJo) Boyd, of Rossville; six sisters, Shirley Blakely, Charlotte Green, Nancy Brown, Linda Henslee, Debbie Nichols and Elaine Cohen; four brothers, Paul Smith, George Smith Jr., Lonnie Smith and James Smith; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be held 3:30 p.m. today at Anderson Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends from 1-3 p.m. today at the funeral home.An online register book may be signed at www.wilsonfuneralhome.com.Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Wallis-Stewart Chapel, Ringgold, Ga.In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home for funeral expenses.
