Minette Millwood

MURFREESBORO Minette Hiener Millwood, 84, went to be with her Lord and Savior on June 13, 2012 in Murfreesboro, Tenn., following a long battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.A former resident of Chattanooga, she was the widow of Earl A. Milwood, who died in 1992.She was also preceded in death by her parents, Paul A. and Amy F. Hiener; brother, Paul Hiener Jr.; sister, Lois H. Schieback; and many wonderful in-laws.She had been a member of the Forrest Avenue United Methodist Church before moving to Murfreesboro in 1994 to be near her children. She was educated at Chattanooga High School and the University of Chattanooga.She and Earl traveled extensively before his death. Later, Minette continued traveling with friends. Her greatest passion was studying Gods Word at Precept Ministries, Bible Study Fellowship, and Community Bible Study.Funeral services will be held Monday June 18, at 3 p.m. CST with visitation following from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. CST at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Murfreesboro. Burial will be at Chattanooga Memorial Park on Tuesday June 19, at 1 p.m. CST/2 p.m. EST, Jennings & Ayers are in charge of arrangements.Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1020 N.
