Janna Morgan

Janna Lea Morgan, 65, of McDonald, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 9, 2012.She was born in Boyds Creek, Tenn., daughter of the late Melvin Malcolm McHenry Allen and Cecilia Cordelia Allen.Janna was a member of Mineral Park Baptist Church in McDonald. She married Larry Austin Morgan in Chattanooga on Aug. 4, 1961. She had been employed by Frank and Gay Fowler of Lookout Mountain, Tenn.She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Stanley Eugene Allen.Survivors are her husband, Larry; daughters, Lamonia (Curtis) Hickey and Vanessa Ertel, both of Charlotte, N.C.; son, Larry (Mary) Morgan Jr., of Cleveland, Tenn.; grandchildren, Ethan Hickey, Jena Hickey, Samuel Morgan, Isabella Morgan; siblings, Billy Wayne Allen, Melvin Kirby Allen, Sam Houston Allen and Robbie Nell Davis.The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 p.m. today at the Valley View Chapel and from 10 until 11 a.m. Monday at the church.Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, March 12, at Mineral Park Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Jones and the Rev. Stinnett Ballew officiating. Graveside services will be held 3 p.m. Monday at Eleazer Cemetery in Mt.
