SOUTH PITTSBURG Minnie L. Marshall, 76, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 30, 2012.She worked for many years at the Tennessee-Alabama Restaurant and a graduate of the SPHS class of 1953.She was preceded in death by her parents, William H. Edith Overturf Lynch.Minnie is survived by her husband, Darwin Marshall Sr.; son, Darwin Marshall Jr.; daughters, Cindy Lynn (Dan) Gothard, Edith Amanda (Dale) Johnson and Susan Jacqueline (SSG. William) Hamby; brothers, William H. Lynch Jr.; sisters, Shirley Dancy, Jane Griffin and Becky Collins; grandchildren, Lamar, Angie, Susie, Alex, Nicole, Brittany and Bailey; and great-grandchildren, Logan, Coby, Levi and Eva.Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. CDT Friday, May 4, 2012, with Brothers Darrell and Calvin Nunley officiating.Interment will follow Lynch Cemetery.The family will receive friends from noon until 9 p.m. CDT today, May 2, 2012, and from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. CDT on Thursday.Online condolences may be sent by visiting www.taefh.com.Arrangements by Tate Funeral Home, Jasper, Tenn., 423-942-9500.
