Diane Trotter

Diane McCoy Trotter, 68, of Chattanooga died surrounded by her family on Friday May 11, 2012 from complications resulting from a life long battle with Diabetes. She was born in Milledgeville, Ga. on July 15, 1943 and had lived in Chattanooga for the past 38 years.She will be remembered as a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother who always made an effort to put others before herself. She was a true Christian and of the Baptist faith.She was an avid tennis fan and for years held memberships in the Chattanooga Racquet Club and Manker Patten Tennis Club. One of her greatest joys in life was playing, watching and talking tennis.She is survived and will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 50 years, Don Trotter; daughter Terri Lynn Trotter; and friend Glenn Herald, of Chattanooga; son Duane Trotter and Lisa Hembree of Villa Rica, Ga.; Granddaughter Grace Trotter; and grandsons Henry Trotter, of Chattanooga, Howie Trotter, of Nashville and Jack Trotter, of Villa Rica, Ga.; sister Horacette McCoy Yost; and Johnnie Yost, of Milledgeville, Ga.; sister in law, Nancy McCoy, of Aiken, S.C.She was preceded in death by her Father Horace McCoy, of Milledgeville, Ga. and Mother Inez Kitchens McCoy, of Gibson Ga., and brother Randy McCoy of Atlanta.The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. today May 14, at the Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 East Brainerd Road.
