WOODSTOCK Kent Chandler, 56, died Monday May 14, 2012, surrounded by his loving family.Kent was born in Chattanooga, and praised as cutest baby of the week. He was a long time resident of Chattanooga before moving to Georgia 26 years ago. A graduate of East Ridge HS, Kent went on to operate his own company, CCCnets inc., and was a brilliant computer engineer. Kent was a loving father; he coached both of his children and was past president of SCRA. He touched many lives from Chattanooga to Atlanta.He is survived by his wife, of 34 years, Vickie; son, Dylan; daughter, Candace; his two grandchildren, Barbie and Edison; siblings, Jack, Jim and Candy, as well as many nephews.A celebration of life service will be held, followed by reception, at 2 p.m. Thursday May 17, 2012, at Unity North Atlanta Church, 4255 Sandy Plains Road, Marietta, GA 30066.In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Caringbridge.org or the American Cancer Society.Arrangements are under the care of SouthCare Cremation and Funeral Society of Marietta. 770-420-5557.
