Dennis York

LaFAYETTE Dennis EuGene York, 55, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012.He was a Jehovahs Witness, and attended the Mountain Cove congregation of Jehovahs Witness. Dennis enjoyed ministering to others, and playing golf, he also loved his pet dog, Houston. He was loved and liked by everyone.Preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Logan Dunn.Survived by wife, Charlotte Blaylock York; father, Eugene York; stepfather, Bill Dunn, both of LaFayette; daughter, Miranda and husband, Jason Clark, of Chickamauga; son, Chad York, of Dalton; sisters, Becky and husband, Jim Clark and Kathy Harris, all of LaFayette, and Annette Champion, of Dalton; grandchild, Sydney Clark; several nieces and nephews also survive. Special thanks to nurse Betty, and nurse Dru Gibson of Amedisys Hospice of Dalton.Memorial service at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, located off Highway 27 bypass at 547 Roadrunner Blvd., LaFayette, GA30728 with David Dixon officiating.No Visitation.Arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home, of LaFayette.
